Hello,
I saw with V13 appliance is not possible to use socket license.
Today my customer is only socket license with 8 VBR server and arround 30 vmware VM per VBR server only (no nas, no agent, ...).
He only do backup + backup copy with all in one VBR on REFS repository and backup copy on LHR
1) If he switch to VUL mode, he will probably pay more right ?
2) Is it possible with socket license to use Veeam infrastructure appliance for LHR or not ?
thanks for your answer

Re: VUL and socket license
Hi matteu,
1. This will need to be discussed with a Veeam Sales Rep as we don't handle such licensing cost questions here.
2. Yes, please see this Editions Comparison document to see the features available with various editions of socket licenses.

Re: VUL and socket license
"Veeam Data Connector for CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM" is an Advanced feature? Does that mean sending the data to NGSIEM is illegal with foundation licenses?

Re: VUL and socket license
Hello,
yes, the Splunk / Crowdstrike / Palo Alto plugins are in Advanced edition. It's not a documentation issue although it works technically because it's just syslog, which is in Foundation.
Best regards
Hannes
