Hi there,
Just posting this FR here.
Currently on support with VMware ESXi.
Would be great if we could do with Nutanix AHV, or other hypervisors (ProxMox) as that's the current pivot.
Providing ondemand DR for customers would be an awesome feature.

Re: [Feature Request] Cloud Connect Instant VM Recovery from Tenant Cloud Repo to Nutanix AHV
@allan_asi while we can not directly write AHV backups to CC repositories we can run AHV backup copies to CC. We do support instant recovery to AHV from CC backups so I think your scenario should be supported already. Please let me know if I'm missing some nuance in what you're asking for

Re: [Feature Request] Cloud Connect Instant VM Recovery from Tenant Cloud Repo to Nutanix AHV
Hi Ronn,
I've raised a support case for this, and they've pointed me to an article where it states that Instant VM Recovery from tenant backups is only supported to VMware ESXi. There is no mention of AHV/Hyper-V or other support Hypervisors.
I did try it (my scenario was a ProxMox backup copy to cloud repo, IVMR to AHV), and it threw an error about failing to publish disks.
