How do I collect VDC usage data via API

Hi,

I need to enable our billing platform to collect VDC (Vault and 365 Backup) usage information via API.
I have logged a case #08052408 regarding trying to get API access to Pulse so pull this information.
I was told API access is only available to aggregators, it's available in VSPC.
I then logged a case #08054192 regarding the VDC usage not showing in VSPC.
I was then told VSPC does not collect data for VDC.

Where can I get the VDC usage from?

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately, these APIs are not available, so there is no way to automatically collect usage. As far as I know, this functionality is planned for future VDC releases.

Hi,

How is this even allowed to happen?
This is kind of critical as a service provider that we are able to collect usage information as we grow our service offering around VDC.
I can't be expected to manually collect this data out of the VDC portal so the billing team can manually capture the data, that just does not scale at all.

Yes, you're right. That's why I mentioned the guys who manage our VDC platform for partners.
