[WORKERS PROFILE] - Different Configuration

Hello,

As everybody knows, in Azure we have now VM Generation V1, V2, Sizes like v2, v4, v5, v6, v7, disks controller type SCSI / NVMe, and disks types as Standard, Premium SSD, Premium SSD v2 and etc.

By saying that, in Veeam we have only one profile to be set for each size of worker (Small, Medium, Large).

How to have a profile that can fit all the type of backup/restore, to do not have below error?

Restoring virtual machine CSM1KBKPVMW100-restore from CSM1NBKPSTOB81 hot failed. Error: Unable to deploy a worker. The selected VM size 'Standard_D2s_v6' cannot boot Hypervisor Generation '1'. If this was a Create operation please check that the Hypervisor Generation of the Image matches the Hypervisor Generation of the selected VM Size. If this was an Update operation please select a Hypervisor Generation '1' VM Size.

Hi Carlos,

I would recommend contacting support for assistance here. We do recommend D series at the moment as they seem to fit most of the requirements but it will be better to contact support for assistance if you have a specific setup.

I already know the key, but it can set just a size. I want to have an option to set multiple sizes in the configuration

There are no short-term plans for this but your request is clear and we will consider enhancements in the future and how to handle it.
