question: why are remote proxies so slow to register on archiver server

Post by mjr.epicfail »

Hi,

Since 8 and the adding of the feature linux proxies, we have gratefully embraced that option.
The proxy overview however, that shows CPU /Memory load and connection state is so slow and out of date/time.
When a proxy reboots and comes online in NATS it can take minutes for it to show up online in this overview.

Is this a feature that is still being developed?

Hi Danny

If performance is unexpected, then it should be investigated by support.
From the conclusions of the support case, we can decide if the situation should be investigated by RnD to enhance our code/queries.
Keep in mind to keep the case open, because if we escalate it to RnD, QA will require access to the logs. Logs are automatically deleted when the case gets closed.

Best,
