Publicly available Feature Release List

Hi,

It would be great if the list of items that have made it onto the feature release list was publicly available and what priority each is given, short term, long term etc.

Additionally, the ability to vote on items that are on the list so they can be given greater priority if large numbers want/need a specific feature that has made it onto the list would be great.

Currently when talking to my local Veeam representatives about challenges, problems, hopes, they don't know what is or isn't on the features request list and don't appear to easily able to find out. This becomes a quite frustrating and general requires me to go further up the chain to bug busy people try and find out. Hopefully Hannes doesn't mind when I do

It would also make it much easier for everyone, customers and Internal Veeam staff, to know what has "officially" made it onto the list and what priority it has been given

Hi Paul,

Our global technical sales team received an overview of the 2026 priorities earlier this year.

Detailed training for the upcoming v13.1 will be provided to them in May and June. For versions beyond 13.1, the full feature list is not defined yet.

To give you a sense of scale: for Veeam Backup & Replication, we’re working on 100+ features for 13.1, and we have many more items in the backlog for future versions. Maintaining such lists publicly would be very time-consuming, and we would also get questions for each feature without having a user guide to reference yet, which would require additional resources.

Hi Fabian,

Surely Veeam already has a list of items that need fixing or features to add, with their priorities, and a person/people to manage the developers to get them implemented? I would be surprised in an organisation your size if you don't?

I've made quite a few feature requests to fix problems in current versions, lots of these have been excepted and given PRT numbers.

The only mechanism we have to try and get problem fixed within Veeam products is through this forum.

Once we put it on here there is pretty much zero feedback or way to know if they are ever going to get fixed. I find this quite a big problem with using Veeam.

My Veeam representatives are unable to provide me with any updates around when features are going to be implemented. Currently I need to keep asking Hannes for updates.
