In Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure, we limit each backup policy to a maximum of 50 VMs. VM selection is tag‑based, using a dedicated Microsoft Azure backup tag to include VMs in the appropriate policy.
In Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure v12, the Backup Inventory report was used to determine how many VMs were protected by each policy, which made it easy to identify which policy had capacity when onboarding new VMs.
Since upgrading to v13, the Backup Inventory report now displays objects rather than workloads. Because policies are tag‑based, each policy appears as a single object instead of showing the actual number of VM instances included in that policy.
Is there a way to generate a report that lists each backup policy along with the number of VMs assigned to it?

Re: Veeam ONE v13: Backup Inventory report shows objects, not VM counts per policy
Hello Fem,
Would you mind open a support ticket, and attach old report and new one so we can investigate what happened, as I do not recall changing the logic of this report, we change the label from VMs to Objects, because we have Agents, RDS, and other items that are not VMs, but not the logic.
Please let us know.
