Error while adding VDC Vault to VBAzure as repositoy

Support Case #08049178 open since 5th April.

Vault has been added to VBR successfully, but when try to add the same vault to Veeam Backup for Azure using webconsole I'm getting these two errors:
1. After completing log-in to the Vault account:

Code: Select all

Request to Veeam Data Cloud failed with code 'BadRequest'.\nError: Error code: 0010. Error: Access denied: no active contract found

2. Immediately after closing the above error message:

Code: Select all

Instance is not registered for the Veeam Data Cloud Vault usage

Support informs that the case is with R&D Team, but no explanation on why this is happening or any ETA for solution provided.

Workaround of appending /etc/veeam/azurebackup/Config.ini on VBAzure appliance with below value didn't resolve the issue.

I see that our RnD team has requested the updated logs bundle after the config option was applied. Can you please share these via the ticket?

I’ve provided the log bundle, and later support informed that the VdcInstanceRegistrationCustomSupportId provided by support team was wrong and should be changed to a new value. After that we were able to add the Vault as repo.

Issue seems to be resolved.
