With the VeeamON stuff going on today, has there been any mention of an official release date yet?
Or maybe I should be asking if there is a date around the 13.1 preview being released which I assume with have XCP-ng support.

Hi Tucker,

The current ETA is summer, but we can’t provide an exact v13.1 release date yet.

The v13.1 Beta may include the XCP-ng plugin, but it must not be used in production. Running a beta in production is a hard no-go, as there is no upgrade path from Beta to GA. In addition, backup chains created with a beta build must never be used with the public GA version — not even by importing them into a GA backup server. Beta backup chains may use an outdated metadata format compared to GA. Importing such files can lead to unexpected side effects that Support will not be able to assist with.

You can use the beta to test its functionality in your (or a customer) environment — just keep in mind that you’ll need to delete the machines used for the backup components and the beta backup chains afterwards. You can't use them with any GA release.

Best,

Hi Mildur,

"The current ETA is summer, but we can’t provide an exact v13.1 release date yet."
Which summer are you referring to? Yours or mine?
Sorry to nitpick but saying summer does not give me any context as I don't know what part of the world you are referring to, for me that would mean Q1 2027

Hi Jake

I apologize. I‘m from europe; so I meant mine.
Early Q3 2026.
