[V13] VSA and VIA Feature request - keyboard layout switch
Often the admins stuck typing the complex passwords in the TUI interface for Veeam JeOS host management. Please add a simple dialog in the logon screen to switch keyboard layouts. At our customer there are several keyboards used by the admins english or german, so a permanent switch wouldn't help. And every time they are confused- F1 to see the password helped, but is no solution.
Thanking in advance,

Hi Martin
Good news, it is planned.
But I can't share an ETA yet.
Best,
Fabian

Re: [V13] VSA and VIA Feature request - keyboard layout switch
I'm deploying another VIA right now, and I have to start over and redo the installation because the password is incorrect.
I feel like calling Veeam support and making them suffer as much as I do when typing in the password in QWERTY US on a different layout such as AZERTY BE.
And the fact that the password has very strict requirements makes it extra difficult, when not using the correct keyboard layout.
Very frustrating and such a basic thing to omit. It's like Veeam doesn't care about customers except the ones using a QWERTY US keyboard.
Also the response, planned but no ETA makes it seems like it's not a priority whatsoever.

Hello,
I totally agree about how frustrating it s to not be able to chose keyboard layout and don t understand why it's not planned for 13.1.
This has been report from the beta version... there are not only qwerty customer

If everything goes as planned, it will be included in v13.1.
@matteu, since you have access to the beta, please test it and, if you would like, provide us with feedback through the communicated Veeam100 channels.
Thank you,
Fabian

@mildur
I installed it on the 13.1 beta with OVA and didn't seen it the first time.
Now, I take more time and I can confirm it's implemented with CTRL + K to change the keyboard layout (I tested with French keyboard).
