Has anyone managed to configure backup for View Transfer Server?
VMware places a lock on the VM restricting the ability to create snapshots. In order to release this lock I have to put the Transfer Server in maintenance mode. Typically the way to do this is through View Administrator Interface, but that cannot be automated. I am researching a way to script this, but finding few results so far...
Anyone here figure a way around this?

we have a transfer server on version 5. does it have this same restriction?

Yeah, same version here. We are View 5 on vSphere 5.
