Licensing Hosts Issue....

Post by johnlockie »

I have one vCenter server managing 7 hosts. The 7 hosts are broken down in to two clusters, one for View and one for servers.

VeeamONE Monitor seems to be "all or nothing" and if you don't have enough sockets it seems to pick the last host added or randomly pick a host not to monitor. In our case, this is one of the servers we want to monitor. I would like some control over this....is it possible? We plan to acquire more licenses, and in fact grew in to this situation. But it seems fair to ask that we can pick the hosts we want to monitor in our vCenter infrastructure, rather than an "all" or nothing approach. Well, "all" or "we pick randomly" is probably a better way of describing it :)
