Hi,
I keep getting this error message on all VM machines. What port or what do i need to do to fix this?
Releasing VM files
RPC function call failed. Function name: [Unfreeze]. Target machine: [10.200.1.31].
RPC error:The RPC server is unavailable.
Code: 1722
Any idea?

Re: Jobs Failing to Backup VMs with Code 1722
I guess second question would be what does VSS really do ? For example if i have a terminal server do i need to enable that VSS option, and if not what should i expect?
Also i have VM that runns exchange 2007, do i need to turn on the VSS then?
please let me know . thank you.

Daniel, I recommend that you read my whitepaper about VSS (available on Veeam website). There is also a number of existing topics on this forum answering questions about VSS, please refer to them for more information.
Yes, I definitely recommend enabling VSS for all Windows-based servers, especially if they are running applications like DC/Exchange/SQL.
From the error it sounds like you have firewall enabled on that VM. Please open a case with our support, and they will help you troubleshoot.
