Post by chapner »

Has anyone had any history on Replicating VM's with SQL2005 and SQL2008 running?

I think that the only thing you should be concerned about is definitely enabling VSS option at advanced job settings, so your VMs containing high transactional applications (such as SQL 2005, 2008) are successfully backed up. Enabling VSS helps to keep DB in the consistent state, so when you do a restore, DB is restored properly.
