Upgrade VBR 5.x >6.X or 6.x > 6.x

Post by Wad4iPod »

Greetings,
The release notes mention running a FULL VBR backup after upgrading. If an exisiting VBR job runs (RI/I) successfully - Do I still ned to perform a FULL BU to keep things in sync?

I cannot find anything about running a full backup after the upgrade in the release notes. You just need to make sure that the last runs for all jobs were successful before upgrading (re-run the failed jobs). All jobs should continue to run normally.

Sorry -You are correct. Not sure why I thought that was the case. May be 4.x 5.x upgrades?

I do not remember having such requirement for earlier versions of Veeam B&R either.
