CompileFIB failed Client error (Synthetic full)

Post by RPR84 »

Hello,

We have problems with our remote backup job. We configure the job with the following parameters:

Platform: Hyper-V
Version: Veeam Backup & Replication 6.1
Backup mode: Incremental (Enable synthetic fulls on Sunday)
Restore points to keep on disk: 7
Compression: Optimal
Storage optimize for: WAN target
Remote backup proxy: Windows 2008 R2
Remote backup repository: QNAP NAS
Guest Processing: Enable application aware image processing and enable guest file system indexing

All incremental backups are running without problems. But every sunday during the synthetic full, we get the following error:
CompileFIB failed Client error: Exception of type 'Veeam.Backup.AgentProvider.AgentClosedException' was thrown.

When the job failed, the retry job is running without errors.

Is there someone that know how we can fix this error?

Rijk, please include the support case ID if you'd like to keep this topic open. With all technical issues, opening a case should be the first step, as it is explained when you click New Topic. Thanks!

Was this issue resolved for the customer? Can the results be added to this thread if it was?

As the OP has never come to update the topic with a ticket number, it's impossible to track the case and provide the found resolution. So, feel free to open your own ticket. Thanks.
