Testing u-air and application item recovery

Post by randomb »

hello!

we have setup 3 test windows servers with exchange 2010, sharepoint 2010 and sql 2008 / 2012

My plan was to test how good veeam actually is to restore either ad users, mail, propertyes and so on

i have a hard time finding any documentation on the initial ground setup ? could anyone recommend any kind of link or document to take alook at

Currently i justg have a normal backup job that runs,

Ive setup a surebackup job and application groups, what to do next?

as i see it, when i choose to restore sql tabeel - the u-air wizard cannot find any sql inside my veeam backups - what have i did wrong? some kind of indexing needed before the veeam backup can see the sql agents inside?

Lars, did you have a chance to review our sticky FAQ topic and U-AIR user guide available at the product web page under Resources tab? The whole U-AIR workflow is described there in pretty good detail. Thanks!
