Import/Export Alert Settings

Post by ameyer »

Is it possible to import and export custom alert settings?

We have a few clients that use Veeam Essentials and we've begun configuring Veeam ONE to gain better insight into their virtual environment performance. I've been tweaking a few of the default performance thresholds to cut down on some of the noise I'm getting from email alerts and wonder if there is an easy way to configure the metrics at one client, export these settings, and then import at every other client so they are all consistent.

Right now I have to go to each client and modify that setting. For example - if I only want to be alerted when the Virtual Machine - VM CPU Ready alert hits 15% instead of the default 10%.

Thanks for any advice,
Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Have you considered using alarm import/export functionality for these purposes? See our User Guide (page 34) for further details.

Thank you!

Thanks Vitality! That's exactly what I was looking for.

I searched the user guide for "export" and I must have scrolled right past that section. D'oh!

Thanks again,
Andrew
