with old version of veeam, my sql hung went veeam creating snapshot, it it always true with new version ?,

Hello Vincent,
Most likely your SQL Server stalled because of the create/commit snapshot operation. You can easily reproduce this behavior by creating, and then committing snapshot after some time (when it grows large enough) manually (using vSphere Client). Unfortunately, this issue has nothing to do with any version of Veeam B&R.
