is veeam backup&replication supporting Quantum Superloader Tape drive with 8 slots? Manufactoring Number:EC-LLDAE-YF ??

Tom, Veeam B&R does not natively support backup to tape currently (meaning that you need a third-party tool to offload Veeam backups to tape). Tape support will be added in the next major release.

so there are 2 new questions: what kind of third party tools do you mean? Can you post a link? when will be the next major release? And, if i buy Veeam Essentials Bundle for VMware tomorrow, will i get an free update or do i have to pay for an upgrade?
