Changing destination datastore per vmdk

Post by sixpack »

Hi

In cases where there is more than one VMDK in a VM, when replicating will it ever be possible to choose which datastore each VMDK gets replicated to?

We purposefully have some VMDK's in one VM on separate physical drives and would like the replica to have the same layout. Otherwise we have to create one very large partition to replicate to.

Thanks

Andrew

Andrew, yes we are planning to add this capability in the future releases.

Also, if each VMDK could be replicated at the same time using different threads/processes, that would increase performance for us a great deal.

Thanks
