Reset data in Enterprise Manager

Post by DW03 »

I've been doing a lot of backup testing with both test server vm's and production vm's. When I go into Enterprise Manager, I still see restore points and vm's from old test servers and backup jobs that don't exist anymore. We're getting to ready to put Veeam 6.5 into production and I would like to start with a "clean slate" so to speak. Does anyone know how I can clear out the historical data in Enterprise Manager?

You can apply different retention policy settings (see Enterprise Manager User Guide, page 25) to purge historical data. Also if you want to start everything from scratch, it might make sense to re-deploy EM database completely.
