Getting statistics from Veeam 6.5

Post by JohnPA »

Hi

I've been asked to get some statistics from a customer as to the size of backups, no. of files backed up, total size actually backed up and the resulting compression ratio.

Given that the backups are incrementals with a synthetic full backup once per week, I can't see how this can be easily done. In particular the synthetic full does not produce (as far as I can see) statistics on total backup size and compression.

Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be done?

Hi John,

You can get the statistics you need if you navigate to the "backups" node and select the desired backup file properties.

Thanks!

This recent topic may also be of value if you are looking for a way to do this via Powershell.
