General report

Post by marius roma »

Veeam B&R reports are a grat tool to troubleshoot possible problems.
I have many jobs tunning every night, and sometimes job overlap.
Is there any way to have a general report of all the backup and replicas executed during the night, in order to detect if any VM have any issue or if any job overlap?
The report I need should look like:

job 1 - VM1 - start time - end time - data transferered
job 1 - VM2 - start time - end time - data transferered
job 2 - VM4 - start time - end time - data transferered
job 1 - VM3 - start time - end time - data transferered
job 2 - VM5 - start time - end time - data transferered
job 3 - VM6 - start time - end time - data transferered
...
As an alternate solution, is there any way to get the data from the existing reports, import in Excel and manipulate them to produce the report I need?
Regards

The upcoming version of Veeam Backup Management Suite will have a special report called “Latest job report” that will provide you with the information regarding job statuses, failed VMs within the job, and other job statistics, as well. It will be also possible to specify an interval for which you want to see the aforesaid information.

Otherwise, a custom PS script should be your answer.

Thanks.
