V7 on virtual VM, Tapeloader on physical Server over FC

Hello,

how can i use the Tape Function if i have the Veeam installed under virtual VM and i have a physical Backupserver with Tapeloader over FC.

Does i need to install the Veeam Software on the Backupserver and a Proxy on a virtual VM, so that i can use Direct SAN Access or Virtual Appliance ?

Or how can i handle this?

I want to have the Veeam Server virtually because of better CPU Performance than the Backupserver.

Yes, you can install Veeam B&R management server on the physical machine and use virtual machines as proxy servers to process backup-to-disk data. Thanks.
