WAN Accelerator Cache
Do I need access to the WAN accelerator cache for restores or does it inject the files into the backup file?

Re: WAN Accelerator Cache
You don't need the cache for restores, it's only used during transfer, and even then it will just be rebuilt if you delete it. Heck, there's even an option in the GUI to clear the cache.

Re: WAN Accelerator Cache
Thanks!!
I was thinking about putting it on SSD on both ends. I am assuming there would be a decent performance gain?

Re: WAN Accelerator Cache
Indeed, assuming the SSD is actually fast at random I/O (many lower cost devices are not as fast as you might imagine). In most cases the target global cache is the primary bottleneck in the WAN accelerator process.
