Restore Point Retention
Just curious.. when does VEEAM purge old restore points? I changed a job from 10 to 3, ran backups, yet old backups were not deleted.

Retention policy is applied at the end of the successful job run. What backup mode do you use, I wonder?

I was impatient.. the job did delete the old backups finally. Didn't seem immediate though.
I have been standardizing on Reverse Incremental with 7 restore points. That seems the safest so the current backup is always a full.. and Active fulls no longer needed IIRC
