VMware Windows 8 with Hypervisor

Post by SuperMRSommer »

Hello Guys

I have a question.

is it supported, to backup a Windows 8 which is installed on a VMware Vsphere 5.1. An on the Windows running a Hypervisor Windows Phone 8 Emulator.

Since the Version 7 of Veeam it brings me a Warning, with Guest processing skipped (check VMware Tools status)

Cheers

Do you have VMware Tools installed inside this VM? Guest processing is impossible without VMware Tools installed and a VM can only be backed up in crash-consistent mode in this case. You can either ignore this warning or disable guest processing in the job settings to prevent it.
