trying to remove VMs from backups jobs

This post may be a little basic, but I am pretty new to Veeam. We have a bunch of backup jobs in Veeam and I am just trying to figure out how to tweak the jobs so that some of the actual VMs being backed up are removed. I am leaving the actual VMs alone in VMware, but I am stopping Veeam from backing some of them up. I see how to tweak the jobs as far as time, days, etc. The jobs are all pointing at backup folders and not individual machines. I can't figure out where to edit those backup folders. I am using Veeam B&R 6.1. Thanks.

Those are VMware infrastructure objects, so you should be using vSphere Client to move VMs to or from those folders.

John, are you probably talking about excluding individual VMs from the backup job, which is targeted at the entire folder? This can be done at the Virtual Machines step, Exclusions button.

Thanks Foggy. Yes, I think that will work. I will look at Veeam after the next backup run and make sure it didn't do VMs in my exclusions list. Thanks.
