Veeam backup copy job
Hi,
today I've tried to create a backup copy job.
One thing that I've noticed is that the next run is always "Continious running" while I sheduled it for ones a day starting at 6:00.
Also it is allowed to run from 6:00 - 12:00 but it keeps running (Idle, but running).
What I tried to accomplish was:
I have a backup job to a nas. I want to copy the latest backup to another nas each day (This nas goes offside).
But now I get a lot of errors because the offside nas isn't available all the time.

Re: Veeam backup copy job
Hi Tom,
Can you please clarify where you have specified this setting? At "Copy every" job settings? Keep in mind that this is not a job schedule, backup copy job will always be in running/idle state.
We have an existing topic that seems to cover your question, please look it through > BackupCopy Jobs - Only want M-Th jobs copied over
Thanks!

Hi, Tom. As mentioned in the post referenced by Vitaliy, disabling backup copy job seems to be the only option you have. Thanks

Re: Veeam backup copy job
Ok, then I will have to create a second back-up job.

Re: Veeam backup copy job
Yes, if proposed workaround with disabling/enabling copy job doesn't work for you, creating additional backup job that is pointed to secondary NAS should be another way to go. Thanks.
