VBR 7.0 supports Windows/SQL 2012 R2?

Dear community,

I would like to check if VBR 7.0 supports Windows/SQL 2012 R2?
From the 7.0 release notes, it states that VBR supports Windows/SQL 2012 but it did not state explicitly that VBR 7.0 supports the R2 version of Windows and SQL.

I would like to confirm this. Any advice is appreciated.

Johnson, if you're talking about installation on Windows Server 2012 R2, then Veeam B&R v7 supports installing all its components on Windows Server 2012 R2. However backing up VMs running Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows 8.1 is not currently supported, as well as backing up VMs residing on Hyper-V 2012 R2. This support will be implemented in the patch 2 planned to be released in November.

As for the SQL Server, I'm not sure what version do you mean here. I don't believe SQL Server 2012 R2 is available.
