V7 and accented characters

Hi all,

I post just to share an issue i was confronted since I've upgraded to the V7.

Some of my backup job failed with the error below :

"Unable to perform offhost backup for *HOST NAME* because storage rescan did not complete for this host yet.
Task failed Error: The specified file is not foun. Error code: 2 Failed to open file [C:\ClusterStorage\Volume6\*VM Name*\*VHD file name*] in readonly mode."

I've resolved this issues by renaming the vhd files which contained accented characters and then rerun the failed job.

Hi,

Yep, the Veeam processes such as data mover (VeeamAgent.exe) do not work with the Unicode characters yet. So, the solution is avoid using Unicode characters at all.
