Archiving Backup Jobs

Hi we have two backup servers, one onsite and one offsite.

The onsite server stores the backup jobs, and the offsite server stores backup copy jobs.

Sending the backup copy jobs to the offsite server we are able to keep weekly and monthly backups for archival purposes.

But what would be the best way for us to save monthly and weekly backups to the onsite server?
