Enterprise Backup Manager Single/auto Sign on
Anyway to use SAML/NTLM/Kerberos authentication to login to the Backup Enterprise Manager web console?

Do you mean that you do not want to provide credentials to EM while accessing it? I don't think that's currently possible, but as a workaround you can specify them once and select a checkbox to remember these credentials.

I was asking for the same when we worked on adding Enterprise Manager, unfortunately we need actual credentials for other authentication tasks further down.

I would like to keep the authentication, it is just the manner in which it is passed to the EM server I would like to change. Essentially I have portal pages for my groups, and would like for them not to have to login twice, so if I could pass a token or some other method to the server, that would be fantastic.

Ok, thanks for the feedback! Out of curiosity, what kind of portal do you use?

Re: Enterprise Backup Manager Single/auto Sign on
Specifically right now my techs use an F5 webtop utilizing the F5 BIG-IP APM Module, which is why this is of interest to me, as I can create custom SSO Configurations for each endpoint. It can do forms based, NTLM, HTTP basic, and integrate with many forms of SAML. I was hoping to just use the forms based configuration in the F5 (it will basically identify a form and then post the authentication parameters to the specified URL) but it cannot seem to identify/inject/post the authentication into the form for the user, so it hasn't worked thus far. Not a huge deal, was just curious if anyone else had played with something like this and gotten it working.

Re: Enterprise Backup Manager Single/auto Sign on
LastPass can add any Apps with SAML 2.0.
from the manual "LastPass SAML support allows you to utilize your LastPass account as the single sign on point for a growing number of domains and associated services".
LastPass help us to manage all passwords and who access which site at enterprise wide AND as an MSP we include all sites pwds needed to manage our clients networks.
LastPass is simply great at that.
I would love to see SAML 2.0 implemented in Veeam BEMWC so LastPass can add it to its list of Apps (+ great promotion for Veeam via LastPass and Spiceworks)
Hope to have some news on this topic soon!
