Hello,
I wonder if anyone has hit this problem regarding uninstalling Veeam B&R from a physical 2008 R2 server?
Each time I try to attempt uninstall it I receive the message 'Error 1325.ProgramData is not a valid short file name'
I have tried using:
add/remove programs
rebooting the server
Micorosft Fixit
Manually deleting all Veeam related folder and clearing out the registry
running the Veeam 5.0 exe
running the Veeam 7.0 exe
The same message occurs when attempting to install Veeam
Many thanks

Re: Unable to uninstall Veeam B&R 5.0 from 2008 R2
There have been more or less similar issues with installing VMware Tools. The root cause was incorrect path to My Documents folder. So, using similar approach, you might want to change the default path to ProgramData folder via registry and see whether it helps.
Thanks.
Thanks.
