Hi,
I'm more of a powershell hack so not sure where to begin with this. I'm looking to run a PS script that will restore one file weekly. This is for the actual restore process validation. We had an issue, I don't recall the cause, but the NFS share that Veeam mounts was failing to mount in VMware. If I never tried a restore, who knows how long it would have been that our actual restore process was not working and if there was an actual disaster, it would have been bad I was wondering if there is some type of template or work in progress or even an alternative method I could do to go about this? Thanks for any help!

Re: Automated schedule restore file
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
First question is, where do you want to restore your file to? Is it enough to have it on the backup server and then just copy it to for example c:\temp ?
Then I would start with the example code of Start-VBRWindowsFileRestore. There are also some existing code sniplets on the forums if you search for "file restore"
Hope that helps to get started.
Best regards,
Hannes
