Hello,
To restore a database, I need to call Get-VBRApplicationRestorePoint, which only returns restore points from regular veeam backups, using VSS-aware image processing.
How can I restore a database from a storage snapshot based restore point?
From the GUI, the restore database wizard does allow me to do that, but am not seeing how to do the same via Powershell.
Thanks a lot,
Mohamed.

Re: Can I restore a database from storage snapshot?
Hi,
Looks like you are right, it's not working for snapshots in Powershell. Great catch, I noted it as a feature request.
I'm afraid, there is no other option to workaround it at the moment. Restore cmdlets accept only VBRApplicationRestorePoint type, and it can be produced by Get-VBRApplicationRestorePoint only.
Best regards,
Oleg
