I wonder if the existing v12 Veeam PowerShell can support gMSA (Secure group-managed service accounts) [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure ... up-managed]?
The goal here is to execute the Veeam PowerShell script using the Windows Task scheduler running with gMSA, so there is no need to hardcode the password at all.
Because my admin account is already secured with 2FA/MFA, hence it is not possible to execute the script with my account.
The link below: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120 does not specifically mention about using the gMSA to execute Veeam PowerShell script.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Re: Configuring and running Veeam PowerShell using Secure group managed service accounts (gMSA)?
Hello,
group managed service accounts are for application aware processing in V12.
Can you maybe explain what the PowerShell script would do and how Veeam is part of that script? I'm not sure, where hardcoded passwords are needed from Veeam side.
Best regards,
Hannes
