Hi Experts
As far as I can see, there is no way to do powershell scripting to the enterprise manager.
We'd really like to be able to script roles to it. We have about 750 VM's, and 750 AD Groups that give administrator access to them.
So we need for each AD Group, make a role giving the Group access to a specific VM as a restore operator.
(EM cannot do this automaticly with Linux VM's, so the build-in feature giving access to Windows machines is not enough in our case.)
Alot of manual Work...

Re: Enterprise Manager roles / Powershell
I believe you can perform all of this via the REST API, which you could access from Powershell via Invoke-RestMethod. To this point I've not done this myself as I've used the REST API mostly via VMware Orchastrator (Javascript), and a little from PHP, but at first glance it seems fairly straightforward.
