Hi
I'm trying to get the progress state of a restoration task.
I got the restore session object with get-VBRRestoreSession -Name <JobName> but the progress field always contains 0.
Is there a way to get the progress percentage of a restoration task using powershell?
(I'm currently running Veeam B&R 6.5.0.109)
Thanks

Re: Get restoration progress
What type of restore is it? Full VM restore? Instant VM Recovery? File level Recovery?
Most of them can be initiated through PowerShell, as a result, you will get a corresponding progress bar. Thanks.

Re: Get restoration progress
Thanks for your reply,
It is full Vm restore. I need to run it asynchronously, so I have no progress bar.
Then I want to check the progress every 10 sec for example.
thanks.

Re: Get restoration progress
Strange, but it seems that even though the backup session progress can be tracked successfully, the restore ones not.
For now it appears to be a general limitation, at least I haven’t been able to find a way how it can be done (regardless of method being used). However, may be some more experienced PS guy will come up with a script you’re after.
Thanks.
