Hi to all,
If you want to retrieve VM job details you can run Get-VBRTaskSession for specific VM job session.
Since in v11 is recommended to use Get-VBRComputerBackupJob for computer jobs, and (indirect) Get-VBRComputerBackupJobSession for computer job sessions, I don't see how is possible to retrieve computer jobs task sessions (Get-VBRTaskSession with computer job sessions ids does not work).
Is it possible to retrieve computer jobs task sessions in v11?
Thank you
Goran

Re: Get-VBRTaskSession - computer job equivalent
Hi Goran,
Get-VBRTaskSession actually does retrieve task sessions for agent backup job. I described the solution in this post.
The misunderstanding comes from the agent job session hierarchy features and how Get-VBRComputerBackupJobSession works. Agent management jobs have parent and child backup sessions, so Get-VBRComputerBackupJobSession returns both. The approach is to choose the child one as it is actually where you can get the info on a task session from.
Thanks,
Oleg
