How do I Protect a tape via PowerShell?

Hello everyone,

How do I protect a tape via PowerShell? Currently I manually highlight tapes and right-click and choose "Protect" but would prefer a PowerShell command to add to my offsite tape script. I am assuming I need to set "ProtectedBySoftware" to True.

Thank you.

You can do via the following commandlet:

Code: Select all
Enable-VBRTapeProtection -Medium [VBRTapeMedium[]]

Thanks.
