Hi,
I am fully aware that the latest cmdlets (eg Get-VESQLDatabase, VESQLRestoreSession) are bundled in the console. Is there a way for these cmdlets be installed or plugged-in to say my local machine without having to install the console? I have already tried the suggestion on this forum -
powershell-f26/powershell-snapin-instal ... 34593.html
and i was able to get a list of the commands available but nothing on the latest ones (eg. eg Get-VESQLDatabase, VESQLRestoreSession).
Thanks

Re: Install latest powershell snapin without installing the console
If you tried this suggestion and it didn't work, then, I'm afraid you need to stick to the backup console to use these cmdlets. On a side note, if you want to use PS from your computer, then maybe remote PowerShell usage can address this.
