Hi,
Many users are moving from VMware to another platform due to VMware licensing changes.
Some Customers are using PowerShell to manage their backup jobs.
I don't think backup jobs created with Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV currently support "Start-VBRJob".
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
Are there any plans to use PowerShell to control jobs created by Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV in future versions?
Kind Regards,
Asahi,

Re: Plan to control Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV with PowerShell
Hello Iio
Thank you for the request. Our goal is to reach 'almost' feature parity between PowerShell and RestAPI.
But it is still a long way. Every release of VBR will get us nearer to that goal.
As a workaround, you can use PowerShell to talk to the Veeam Backup for Nutanix AHV RestAPI.
Starting a job is one feature you can do with the RestAPI: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbahv ... Jobs_Start
Maybe there is a workaround with unsupported methods, but I have to let my colleagues provide such information.
Best,
Fabian
