Read enterprise plugin job status via PS

Post by mdiver »

Is there a way to read the job status of the enterprise plugins via PS?
Goal is to have those included in a CSV export on the daily job status.

Those jobs show up in the GUI with last-run, next-run and result. But Get-VBRJobObject doesn't show those.

Thanks,
Mike

Hello,

You need to use this cmdlet, on the help center page is written that it works only for policies but it's a mistake, there is another cmdlet for policies. We'll update our docs soon.

Thanks!

Thanks, @PetrM.

Unfortunately Get-VBRPluginBackupSession seems to be available from V12 on only.
Is there a (maybe undocumented) way within V11 to read the plugin backup status as it is visible in the Veeam console?

Thanks and best regards,
Mike

Hello,

Yes, that's true, you cannot use it with v11. Instead, I can propose to query the last result field in the output of this cmdlet.

Thanks!

Perfect!
It even also works for primary plugin jobs, even being found in the backup copy part of helpcenter.

Thanks a lot.
