RESTful api and Powershell

With future versions of Veeam will the RESTful api start to replace Powershell as an alternative form of management?

I think it's fair to say that both will continue to exist as the serve quite different purposes. You can do MUCH more with Powershell than via the RESTful API and I don't think this will change in the foreseeable future, although someone from the development team might come along and correct me.
