Hi
We are a VSP Gold Service Provider standarised on Veeam. We have a over 500 + jobs run daily ranging from 1 VM to 40 VMs in any one job.
We have been working with VeeamONE v10 for quite some time and we need to provide MGT with a monthly Backup Storage consumption report for Billing purposes.
We tried the Backup Billing however it proved challenging due to the level of content.
We have since been working with the Backups on Repository template which is the closest to achieving the required report level.
We have used the template to create Backups on Repository individual Customer reports and then used the Report Build to trim that even further and then save as Excel format.
All looking great!
However, there are aspects we just can seem to address.
The issues we need to resolve.
1. The numbers for the Full Backups Size GB, Increments Backup Size GB and Total Backups Size GB are save as text. They need to be numbers
2. We stripped out all the sections from the Backups on Repository report using Report Builder however this still leaves (sheet 1) the Summary page with Description and Repository Details.
3. The repository details lists for each customer repo (there may be 3) the Repo type, Capacity, Free and Used Space, VM Backups Size which is not required.
4. Customer Backups are stored in a Backup (landing) repo and any server with long retention has a backup copy job to an "Archive" repo. We need to have them listed together, not separately.
5. In many cases Customers have elected to have an off site copy. This is another separate backup copy job to an "Off Site Backups" repo. This we need listed separately.
6. We need Total GB for Backup + Archive repo as it's local while and another Total GB for Off Site Backups repo which is obviously off site.
Due to the number of reports which we need to generate monthly, manual editing of these is just not viable.
Can anyone assist in automating these?
Thank you....Mark

Re: Customised Backups on Repository
Hi Mark,
1. I will ask our dev team to take a look at this.
On a side note, that's all hosting, right (no Veeam Cloud Connect involved)?
Thanks!

Not sure there is a way to do it right now, however, we are planning to expand our custom backup infrastructure report, so if you could share your ideal template via a private message with me I should be able to discuss it with the RnD team for our future updates.MSweetman wrote:Due to the number of reports which we need to generate monthly, manual editing of these is just not viable.
