Re: Generate the backup report summary for each backup job?
Hi Albert,
What do you usually do with this excel spreadsheet? What's the end goal for you? The reason I'm asking is that we have lots of reports for various reporting tasks, such as VM & Computer Protection History, Protected VMs, and Job History, to name a few.
To get a report similar to your excel spreadsheet containing just simple information on job presence, their schedule, and platform you need to dig into Backup Infrastructure Custom Data and pick columns you need from available to create a custom report. I'm afraid we do not have a column for showing schedule as the schedule is something way more complex than just time and date, but there is a column "Next run time". I've tried to select the Job object and picked up the following attributes: Job name, Backup server, Protection Type, Platform, Job details, Next run time. The outcome looks very similar to your spreadsheet.
An alternative is - you can view near the same data within Veeam ONE Client.
You may also save any reports to excel and schedule them.
Thanks
