VEEAM ONE Reporter License Issue

Post by oli4 »

Hello
I have a vCenter with several clusters. I have bought Veeam licenses only for the production clusters. How can I configure Veeam ONE Reporter to give the licenses to specific ESX servers? In Veeam Monitor I can do this under:
- Options, Server Settings, Hosts
But Veeam ONE Reporter always claims that it has not enough licenses.

Hello Oli4,

Currently there is no way to suppress this warning message when you do not have enough license keys for the entire environment added to the Veeam ONE collection jobs. You can exclude hosts from monitoring, but it is not possible to exclude hosts from configuration data reporting.

For example, If you exclude some hosts/clusters from configuration data reporting, this will mess up all data in configuration reports, and all high level (vCenter Server/Cluster based) reports will simply become invalid. These reports will be both not full and useless, since not all hosts configuration will be included, and we wouldn't be able to give you proper recommendations based on this data.

Thank you!
