Retrieve vCloud Org quota usage
Hello guys,
Is it possible to retrieve the quota USAGE value of all vCloud Organization via the API?
This value is available when manually creating an Export from the Enterprise Manager admin GUI (in Configuration > vCloud) but I do not see how to retrieve it via RestAPI or PowerShell.
Thanks!
Regards,
JJ

Nope, quota usage is not exposed via RESTful API. Thanks.

Hi Vladimir,
Thanks for your reply.
Is there any way to retrieve this value from PowerShell script then?

JJ

Re: Retrieve vCloud Org quota usage
I don't think so, unless you know which job belongs to which organization. Basically, if you know what name particular organization gave to its job, then, it should be possible to query either via PowerShell or via RESTful API backup files (created by this organization) and check the overall size. Thanks.

Is there any way, from a service provider perspective, I can get information on the quota usage of all jobs per organisation?

You can export this information, using Enterprise Manager UI. Currently, you cannot get this information via automation services, such as PowerShell and RESTful API. Thanks.

Re: Retrieve vCloud Org quota usage
Any chance there's now an automation interface for getting this vCloud org quota usage? If not, is it on a roadmap for a future release?
I'm in the same boat as JJ, we're a service provider and need an automated way of grabbing this storage usage for each org.

I found this recently and it might help you until version 10 release. Please note this is a community provided script so use it at your own risk.

Hi Chris,
Just to say fantastic work. I assume this plugin won't work on Vcd 10 yet since it is not supported by veeam either until the release of Veeam10. I did try to upload the plugin but received a "no manifest.json file found.
cheers

Hi Geoff,
I assume in your comment you're referring to the Veeam Plugin for vCD? If so, thanks!
For issues you might be having with the plugin, please direct them to the GitHub Issue Tracker.
